The role:
You will be based in a specialist technical team, this role involves
supporting global data handling activities by providing study databases and
specific data collection and reporting tools to clinical project teams
across a range of therapeutic areas.
The main responsibilities include:
* Design and construction of
clinical trial databases and related objects for collection of patient data
for CRF and EDC trials
* Review of data quality check
specifications and procedural programming within Oracle Clinical during the
course of clinical studies
* Development of data extraction
programs based on user requirements, for extracting patient data from Oracle
Clinical to be used for analysis purposes
* Adherence to global standards
and project related standards for all clinical study databases
* Employ project management and
software development lifecycle methodology
Co-operate with local and international study teams to achieve efficient
solutions
You will be:
* At least 1 years experience in handling biomedical data and
relational databases
* Scientific or relevant technical degree (or equivalent
qualification) is essential
* Oracle Clinical, ClinTrial or EDC experience preferred but not
essential
* PL/SQL or SAS programming an advantage
