Patient Dependency Tool and Workforce Planning
£19,000 pa
NHS Tayside is responsible for providing all healthcare for 380000 people with a diverse demographic profile. To assist in implementing Delivering for Health, this project will design and evaluate a dependency tool that assesses all aspects of healthcare, social and life needs to ensure the optimal deployment of the healthcare workforce.
Another associate will develop the dependency tool liaising with health and social care professionals. Your job will be to develop a robust statistical methodology to assess the applicability of the dependency tool. Both associates will develop and pilot the tool and disseminate their results at all levels of the NHS. Applicants should have a good recent honours degree with a substantial statistical content and excellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills. Both appointments are two year fixed-term.
