PSI Online Course
Meta-Analysis in Drug Development
Course Dates: 1 September 2006- 31 October 2006
Course Enrolment at www.psiweb.org <http://www.psiweb.org>
PSI is now distributing some of its training courses online using PSI's new
E-Learning Centre. The first course to be made available is 'Meta Analysis
in Drug Development' that was presented by Prof. Stephen Senn of Glasgow
University in March of this year.
This first course is split into 8 sessions, each of between 30 and 60
minutes which can be accessed at anytime over the next 2 months. Once you
have registered onto E-Learning Centre, which is free of charge, you can
then enrol online for the course at the very reasonable price of £150. For
this price you can download the training course slides and view the session
videos as many times as you like at whatever time you like. You will also be
able to ask questions of Prof. Stephen Senn by using the forum, a course
bulletin board where you can add and see questions from other course
participants as well as their answers. After completing a short course test,
you will receive a course completion certificate to add to your training
records.
You can see what the format of this course looks like by trying our course
preview feature which is available once you have registered to use the
E-Learning Centre. In the future we hope to host recordings of sessions from
PSI scientific meetings and the annual conference on the PSI E-Learning
Centre so that these too can be made available to all PSI members who are
not able to attend these events.
You can register to use the E-Learning Centre on-line by following the link
from the PSI website homepage at www.psiweb.org <http://www.psiweb.org> and
can enrol on this course from today. The course can be accessed from 1st
September to the 31st October 2006.
