Please find below the details of our latest European CONTRACT Vacancy,
based in Belgium with a top 10 Pharmaceutical client. This position
offers an excellent rate and the option to extend for 2-3 years.

One of our large pharmaceutical clients in Belgium has a requirement for
two experienced SAS programming consultants.
The consultants will be working for the RED (Research and Early
Development) Phase 1 team in Belgium, having their manager in UK.
Contractor scope of work:
MAIN PURPOSE OF SERVICES
*To perform programming activities related to project team and
departmental deliverables. This will incorporate multiple phase I
projects within Early Development.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
*Provide programming input to Project Teams
* Perform the programming review of database design specifications and
Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP)
*Perform the conversion of data exported from EDC systems
*Perform and supervise, where appropriate, the development and
validation of trial specific programs for analysis and reporting
including the supervision of other programmers, where appropriate
*Perform the peer review of program code and outputs
*Maintain and archive program documentation, both electronic and paper,
in an appropriate manner, including cleaning the project directory
*Assist in improving / developing departmental processes, SOPs and
documentation
*Undertake work according to current operating procedures and guidelines
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Develop adequately documented applications
*Provide programming support to the Biostatistics, Data Management and
Medical Writing, PK and Clinical groups
REQUESTED PROFILE:
- >= 2 year of SAS experience (SAS Base, Macro's, Graphs, Stats is a
plus )
- team player
- Windows2000 experience
- experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- interested in research data
