We would like to draw your attention to the following events, organised by
ESDS Government. Both are free to attend.
Introductory workshop on analysis over time
Monday 30 October 2006
CCSR, University of Manchester
This workshop is aimed at non-expert users who require a general
introduction to analysis over time using the large-scale government surveys.
Speakers will include academics and data creators and sessions will describe
basic principles of working with cross-sectional data series to explore
trends, pooling datasets to increase sample sizes, creating merged datasets
for pseudo-cohort analysis, and using the LFS for true longitudinal
analysis. There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion.
