This is a senior role within the newly created
Biostatistics and Programming Development Partners
group that supports drug project teams by developing,
and embedding innovative methodologies within drug
project teams, the Clinical matrix and other parts of
the organisation. The role will provide consultancy
and training to statisticians and other customer
groups. Although the role is based in the UK, the
successful candidate should expect to work globally.
You will have a MSc/PhD in Statistics or a related
subject with at least seven years' experience in the
design and analysis of clinical trials with knowledge
of Bayesian statistical methodology, and/or adaptive
designs and a track record with respect to their
application within the pharmaceutical industry.
Ideally you will have worked in the pharmaceutical
industry within drug project teams and/or within the
regulatory arena. A track record of publications and a
wide network of industry and/or academic contacts
would also be considered advantageous.
You must be an experienced statistical consultant,
have good leadership and networking skills and be
an excellent communicator. In addition you will need
proven influencing and assertiveness skills, credibility
in interactions in the clinical trial matrix and the
ability to work internationally.
