PK/PD Modeling and Simulation Expert

 

This is an exceptional opportunity for a an ambitious and talented
candidate to take on a role within a growing group. The client has
indicated a firm desire to bring on board young scientists who have a
strong desire to grow and develop both professionally and personally and
who will benefit from operating within a scientifically focued
environment with a strong emphasis on quality and innovation.

 

Primary Purpose of Position 

 

The position carries with it a number of responsibilities and
accountabilities, they include:

 

.        Making contributions to modeling and simulation methodology to
the development of new clinical approaches and protocols from a PK/PD
perspective.

.        Ensure that information is shared/delivered to improve study
and compound success

.        Ensuring regulatory compliance by the provision of analyses on
study data (PK/PD).

.        Making sure that our client methods remain "state-of-the-art"
whilst adhering to new guidelines as well as alignment of systems and
processes to internal and external standards, globally.

.        Ensuring that software tools in modeling and simulation are
kept up-to-date and that all systems are appropriately validated.

 

Education

 

.        Relevant PhD qualification, or a mathematics, statistical or
science degree

.        Fluent English speaker

.        Knowledge of PK/PD software (WINONLIN, NONMEM etc) for modeling
and simulation purposes

.        Previous experience in at least one of the following areas:
PK/PD modelling and simulation, physiologically based pharmacokinetic
modelling, or population pharmacokinetic modelling

 

 

Industry-specific knowledge

 

- Knowledge of Pharma R&D, or previous experience in CRO or Biotech

- Knowledge of relevant statistical and mathematical methods

- Holistic understanding of the drug development process
