The newly established Division of Health and Social Care Research (HSCR)
comprises over thirty Principal Investigators in the Schools of Medicine,
Biomedical Science and Nursing and Midwifery, with collaborations with
other Schools in Kings College London and links with the local NHS Primary

The overall aim of the Division is to investigate the development,

and methods for basic and translational research in clinical, health and
social service and community settings.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Professor of Medical
Statistics and seek applications from suitably qualified and experienced
candidates who are keen to build on our research strengths and contribute
to the development and future success of our Division.
This post is created primarily to provide leadership in Medical Statistics
and to enhance the provision of statistical advice and training for
researchers in the Health Schools within Kings College, London.
The postholder will also be expected to develop a programme of research
that complements the Divisional aims and, in collaboration with others,
raise funds to support this. Full collaboration with other researchers in
the College in the design of studies, analysis of data and writing up of
results will be expected and encouraged.
