SAS Programmer urgently needed for an exciting new biotechnology company that is developing pharmaceuticals to prevent scarring and accelerate wound healing. Due to the expansion of the Biometrics Group our client has a number of SAS programmer positions. To be successful in these roles you will use your SAS programming expertise to provide tables, figures and listings from clinical trial data for use in the team's Clinical Study Reports.
A key element of the role is input to the structure of the study databases and analysis plans plus validation of work performed by others.
You should be educated to degree level with 1-2 years' experience programming in SAS within the pharmaceutical industry or at a CRO. Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills are essential.
Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing statistical programming expertise in the production of TFLs from assigned clinical trial data.
Responsibility for the statistical programming of analyses, tabulations, graphics and listings of clinical trial data
Provide input to structure of the clinical database for assigned studies
Provide input to statistical analysis plans for assigned studies
Validate work performed by others according to ICH guidelines for Good Clinical Practice
Liaising with other functional groups to understand and help define requirements
PRIOR EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL TRAITS:
Essential Experience, Qualifications, Attributes:
Qualified to BSc level in Computing or a relevant numerate subject
1-2 years' relevant experience
Knowledge of basic statistical concepts
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational and analytical skills
