I did univariate analysis to see whether age affect the outcome using linear regression analysis, the slope coefficient of age is -1.21, with p-value <0.0001. It shows that age is significantly associated with the outcome.
But when I did multivariate regression analysis, the slope coeeficient of age becomes 0.2, with p-value = 0.62. It shows that age is not significantly associated with the outcome.
Does anybody can advise me how to interpret these result? What conclusion can be made bewteen age and the outcome?
Many thanks,
Kan
