Dear Colleague
PLEASE HELP WITH A 5-CLICK QUICK POLL!
At the forthcoming International Conference on Teaching Statistics
(ICOTS7, 3 -7 July 2006) there will be a panel debate about Teaching
Statistics in Context.
The debate will be related to the:
(i) roles of the people who teach the subject;
(ii) kinds of skills students should learn from a service
course.
I would like to get a (self-selecting) snapshot of views about (i) and
(ii) and would appreciate it if you would help by completing a 'quick
poll' comprising simple Agree/Disagree responses to FOUR propositions
posted at the following url.

Either click on this link or copy it into your web browser.
I will post a full report on the results of this quick poll, and the
discussions and conclusions of the debate, on ALLSTAT and on the above
web site after the ICOTS7 conference.
