SAS Programmer
Function: Preparation of derived datasets, tables, figures and listings
for Biometric reports. Also data validation work and E-trial data
manipulation
Reports to: Head of Statistics
Experience: 1-4 years in a CRO or Pharma environment.
Experience of reporting in SAS essential.
Some Phase I work experience preferable.
Works Closely With Statistics Manager, Principal Statistician, Senior
Project Statistician, other SAS(r) Programmers, Statistics Quality
Control (QC) Auditors and Data Management, IT and Quality Assurance (QA)
groups
Overall Purpose: Assists the Project Statisticians and is responsible
for the timely, reliable and appropriate processing of the clinical
trial reporting for projects completed and for output for clinical data
supplied electronically by Clients, according to ICH, GCP, Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Client instructions.
Train Data Managers in the use of SAS and assist in data validation as
necessary.
