Please find below details of our latest CONTRACT vacancy based in the
North of England.

Timescale: Starting as soon as possible (July 2006) for a period of 6
months minimum.
Scope: Provide statistical support and statistical programming support
for Fabric and Home Care business. Work will be allocated and
supervised by a statistician.
Skills and Experience:
A statistics qualification is required. An advanced degree is preferred
but is not essential.
The work potentially involves a wide range of statistical techniques and
the job holder should ideally have experience in the design and analysis
of experiments, linear and non-linear modelling (including generalised
linear models), and multivariate analysis.
The job holder will be experienced in statistical programming and
ideally have experience in one or more of the following packages: SAS,
SPSS, JMP, S-Plus.
The job holder must be able to work independently. Participation in
team meetings may be required.
The job holder must have excellent spoken and written English
