SUMMARY OF ROLE: Leading global contract research organisation is seeking
a Senior Biostatistician
to perform and coordinate statistical analyses in France for late-phase
studies (IIIb, IV, observational / epidemiological / outcomes research
studies, registries), based in Orléans or Paris. The successful candidate
must be a member of the EEA.

JOB ROLE: Under the responsibility of the Europe Manager of Late-Phase
Statistics, principal tasks and responsibilities include:
· Coordinating the activities of the statistical team in France.
· Taking charge of the quality control of the statistical data
delivered by the team.
· Performing or supervising complex statistical analyses and
creating or providing input to statistical reports - usually in English
(software: SAS).
· Cooperating with other biostatistical and company departments to
optimise the global efficiency.
· Acting as a proactive advisor for all types of analysis
(biostatistics, epidemiology, outcomes research) during the proposal
process as well as during the project life cycle.
· Defining strategies and evaluating the statistical resources
needed to meet the defined goals.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
· Degree in Biostatistics.
· Significant experience in biostatistics in pharmaceutical industry
and/or a CRO.
· Significant additional qualification in at least one of the
following fields
Ø Epidemiology, especially pharmaco-epidemiology
Ø Outcomes research
Ø Health economics
· Excellent French and English language skills, (written and verbal)
are mandatory.
