Senior Statistical Programmer, Germany - Permanent
Our client, a major Pharmaceutical company based in Germany, are
offering a brand new opportunity with their Statistical Reporting
department. We are looking for a Senior Statistical Programmer (SAS)
with plenty of relevant experience.
NATURE & SCOPE
- Provide programming support and validation of analysis data sets,
pooled datasets, statistical summary tables, figures and patient data
listings for phase I - phase III clinical trials, ISS & ISE, primarily
using SAS (Primarily Phase 1 at least in the beginning).
- Provide output for the Clinical Study Report, the Integrated Summary
of Safety (ISS), the Integrated Summary of Efficacy (ISE) and electronic
submissions.
- Based in Germany, you will work with biostatisticians and programmers
based also in other sites.
- Apply knowledge of clinical data, the design and phases of clinical
trials, statistics, relevant regulations and the pharmaceutical industry
to the implementation of tasks.
- Handle complex statistical programming issues independently and be
familiar with study programming issues. Bring ideas for new projects and
take the initiative to solve issues.
SPECIFIC SKILLS
- SAS expert
- Fluent in English (German is beneficial)
- Ability to evaluate processes and situations in an orderly and
rational manner asking questions and identifying missing information.
- Must be able to determine relationships between different parts of a
problem and identify appropriate solutions.
- Accurately and efficiently work towards quality results
EXPERIENCE
With a good level of experience in Statistical SAS programming
experience with prior experience in pharmaceutical related field is
required.
Working knowledge of clinical legislation (FDA, EMEA,), Good Clinical
Practice (GCP) and Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium
(CDISC) is a plus.
Statistician, South East England - Permanent
I am actively seeking a Statistician for a major pharmaceutical company.
The successful candidate will provide statistical support and advice to
Study Team(s) as a Project Statistician for a study (studies) within a
Project Team. Responsibilities will include design of clinical trials,
review of protocols and data collection instruments, planning and
performing statistical analyses, interpreting and presenting statistical
results, and preparing documents for submissions to regulatory
authorities.
NON TECHNICAL SKILLS & DETAILS
The successful candidate will have good communication and presentation
skills, and must work effectively in a team environment. The ability to
communicate with non-statisticians to interpret statistical findings is
necessary. The candidate must have experience of SAS and a good
knowledge of the requirements for submissions to regulatory authorities.
The successful candidate must have at least a MSc in Biostatistics or
equivalent with significant experience as a Statistician in the
pharmaceutical industry.
This role will be office based.
