Dear Justin,
This seems to be just up our street! Please find enclosed my CV. As
you will see I am a qualified NRAC auditor and my company, Arcadian
Access, has been consultants in Disability matters for twenty years.
Arcadian Access has organised a number of events in the past that
require the organisational skills you are seeking. We always work to
our client’s brief and, in every case, plan, design and deliver
appropriate and effective training and course management. We
frequently work with user groups to advise us on all aspects of our
projects and, should we work with you on this project will liaise with
Disabled transport user groups and individuals to ensure the success of
the venture by listening to and disseminating all comments and needs.
The largest event we managed was for The Human Rights League and The
Royal Danish Government in Zimbabwe. 150 Disabled delegates from all
parts of Africa attended a week of meetings, seminars and practical
workshops on empowerment of Disabled people in Employment, Transport
and the Media. We organised all aspects, from tickets, logistics and
information packs. Because of the unique nature of this course, the
various strands were tailor-made and delivered together with monitoring
and feedback opportunities.
Arcadian also organised a major session in Edinburgh for the
International Television Festival which explored the employment of
Disabled people in the media, both behind and in front of the camera.
300 delegates attended the session, which comprised question and
answer, role plays and workshop sessions.
I regularly organise workshops and deliver training seminars, for
Arcadian Access and we have a prestigious client list including
individual clients, staff members and large groups of managers and
employees in the Legal profession, Unions and Universities.
You will remember me from the South Eastern audits for which I acted as
consultant and advised the Trevor Patrick Partnership two years ago.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Kit Wells
