Hi Marcus
......not strictly speaking a consultation but Pembrokeshire Association of
Voluntary Services (PAVS) and the Pembrokeshire Coalition carried out an
"Opportunities for Disable People" project which was funded by Interreg III
and involved collaboration with an organisation in Wexford Southern Ireland.
101 disabled people were interviewed in Pembrokeshire to find out what
problems (if any) they had in accessing services and facilities in
Pembrokeshire and we have used the findings to inform our Disability
Equality Scheme. There is not an electronic version of the results
unfortunately but if you contact PAVS they will be happy to send you a hard
copy.
I will mail you contact details directly......
Regards
Alan Hunt

Subject: Community consultation
Hi everyone
I am trying to locate examples of community consultation that have involved
disabled people, preferably successful consultations, but interested in ones
that went wrong as well. Has anyone on the list got any contacts or
experience themselves?
Regards
Marcus
