We have been working with the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) to look at
the impact (or lack of it) of the Decent Homes Standard on accessibility of
social housing. There is a report on this due out from JRF later this month.
We are trying to locate any housing associations, or Registered Social
Landlords, that may be demonstrating good practice on improving access
generally, rather than on a "special needs" basis for individual tenants.
Specifically I am hoping to find housing associations with an Access
Strategy and/or using Access Statements on improvement programmes. Do you
know of any that may fall into this category? If so could you please let me
know so I could contact them to capture this good practice to share with
those that are not.
Regards
Marcus
