Hi Lynn
hospitals have the Firecode, this is an older document 1994 (I have a
copy if you would like one), and desperately in need of updating. This
guidance is based on phased evacuation and does not include the need for
refuges as each 'compartment' of the hospital is designed to be a
separate 'relatively safe' area.
it is in procedures that detailed planning and practice/training is needed.
