Hi Again,
We are having some retro work carried out on some of out footpaths. It has been decided that corduroy tactile warning will be fitted to the upper and lower landings on steps. The material being used for the raised strips is HD composite/stainless steel/brass. The company have stated the HD composite is not slip resistant when wet and therefore they suggest stainless steel or brass. I was conserned that these too would be very slipery when wet but they told me they treat it to make it abrasive. The company is RockArt Europe Ltd.
Has anyone used their products? Are the brass and stainless steel slip resistant? Please don't respond unless you have experienced or some knowledge of this treated material.
Thanks,
John
