Good Design and Access Statements Urgently Needed
The requirement for design and access statements with
applications is almost with us. ODPM are finalising
the details as I write.
There will be around 150,000 statements needed a year
in England - a big change in DC practices. To help
the ODPM, CABE and PAS will be publishing good
practice guidance and we would like to use as many
examples of good statements in this as we can.
So if you have written or seen a good statement, and
think it should be highlighted in national guidance,
please let me know at [log in to unmask] by 24
January. Just the details of the applicant and the
site will do if you don't have an electronic copy, but
it would be great if you could say why you found the
statement worked well.
Many thanks
