Hi Marcus
I would imagine there will be a consultation paper later in the year,
probably after the ODPM have finished with the changes to part B
I like the idea of larger manifestation than is the current norm but I
am not sure about some of their sample patterns.
On a project we have just completed the original manifestation used
consisted of 10 mm wide 50 mm high pale grey bars which are low
visibility and get lost completely against lighted or dark background
areas. After some tail twisting they have made 1 in 10 of these bars red
which helps. But I have still ended up walking into glass walls and
doors a few times.I would like some improvements made and would prefer
to have some better research carried out before any guidance is written.
maybe one of your students could take up the task?
Regards
Dave
