Are any of the following issues being addressed by anyone regarding the
packaging of ready-made meals?
a] Where more than 1 compartment used in packaging, a way of separating
these apart for serving to prevent risks of scalds or burns.
b] The need for much stronger plastic films being used so that the cover
peels off in one piece.
c] Seals used on cartons for liquids like Milk and Juices etc. so they can
be easily gripped and pulled off.
I have had these issues raised by a number of people who find the packaging
used, offer a range of failings, especially in relation to microwavable
meals, where they have nearly scalded themselves removing the plastic film,
prior to serving up a meal onto a plate.
I would be very happy to clarify this posting further to people who think
that there are not problems in this area.
