We're considering whether to add to our existing website an online
discussion mechanism for people from local groups of and for disabled
people. The idea would be to encourage and help discussion and comments on
policy issues or other proposals specific to the area that could affect
disabled people.
Does anyone have any encouragement or warnings about doing this - for
example experience on the policies and resources that would be needed
to "moderate" such a list? Does anyone have any recomendations about the
software packages available for discussion groups of this sort - in
particular information on the accessibility of the different styles or
versions of discussion group software packages?
PS My posting last week appealed for disabled "mystery shoppers" to visit
Merseyside. It was supposed to have an attached file of details, but
didn't (my technical error). I've now attached that file of information on
our "mystery shopping" opportunity to this post (I hope).
