Hi Susan,
As far as I am aware, all progressive conditions are now covered by the
definition. It used to be that the condition had to have had a substantial
and adverse long-term affect on day-to-day activities, but now they are
covered from diagnosis instead of from when the condition has started to
have an affect.
Cheers.
John.

Hello
On another note - could anyone confirm if the 'onset' of Alzheimer's would
be included?
Thanks

Hi Sandy,
All cancers are covered by the definition of disability from diagnosis under
the revised definition and therefore covered even when in remission.
Cheers.

Subject: [ACCESSIBUILT] Definition of Disability
Hello. Could anyone please tell me whether any Cancels have been excluded
from being defined as a disability? An example of this would be Breast
Cancer which is in remission.
Thanks.
