At major building projects - and happily there are a lot around in
Liverpool at the moment - there are often site boards giving details of
the Architect, the Quantity Surveyor and even the Acoustic Consultant.
However, I don't recall ever seeing one with the Access Consultant proudly
displayed, even for those projects where developers are happy to tell me
there is such a consultant.
Has anyone experience of seeing such a "site credit"?
Does anyone know if there are any rules or standards that require (or that
permit) certain contractors to be credited in this way, but not others
(and who sets them)?
Is it the case that Access Consultants are a shy and retiring bunch or has
there been a long and unsuccessful battle that I'm not aware of to get
their names in front of the public like this?
