Hi Anna
Have you seen the Tramper? (www.tramper.co.uk )
They are very popular and are much used and tested by the Disabled Ramblers
Association (www.disabledramblers.co.uk ).

Subject: Access to the countryside - Alternative to quad bikes
Dear All,
My parents are farmers who are looking at ways to increase access to their
land for local
people to enjoy. My partner and I are both wheelchair users and use a quad
bike to get
around the farm when we visit however a) unless you have very strong arms
quad bikes can
be difficult to manouvre and b) they are very expensive to insure especially
for public
use even with a speed restrictor fitted to the engine. I was just wondering
if anyone on
the list had come across an alternative to quad bikes for 'walks in the
countryside' and
the like? It's not about speed, more about something that will cope with
the terrain
(mainly fields and bridleways).
Any suggestions gratefully received,
Many thanks,
Anna
