Hello,
I have encountered several problems in the modeling & statistic part I
would like to share with you:
1.After applying the Result and getting a spm-map I don't get a picture of
the brain (I used 2D interpolation), I only see the voxels that
significant. Also right clicking on the map and choosing 'channels'
displays the channel names all over the graphic window and not in reference
to the voxels displayed.
Where can I look in order to know to which channel the x,y,z coordinates
in the map correspond to?
2. When doing Estimation I get this error:
---------------------
??? Error using ==> spm
Unknown Modality
Error in ==> spm_spm at 312
if strcmp(spm('CheckModality'), 'EEG')
Error in ==> spm_spm at 299
spm_spm(SPM);
Closing and opening SPM again enables to run the Estimation processes with
no errors.
3. When doing Review on 2cnd level design I got several errors:
a. review->design->design matrix
----------------------------------------
??? Reference to non-existent field 'xsDes'.
??? Error while evaluating uimenu Callback.
b. review->explore->files and factors
--------------------
??? Reference to non-existent field 'I'.
??? Error while evaluating uimenu Callback.
4. In the Result part, when specifying a contrast, if I try doing it
through the component window I get:
?? Error using ==> vertcat
All rows in the bracketed expression must have the same
number of columns.
Error in ==> spm_eeg_contrast at 16
c = [c; zeros(size(SPM.xX.X, 2) - size(c,1), 1)];
Error in ==> spm_eeg_conman>compute_Callback at 489
c_out = spm_eeg_contrast(SPM, xCon);
Error in ==> gui_mainfcn at 75
feval(varargin{:});
Error in ==> spm_eeg_conman at 52
gui_mainfcn(gui_State, varargin{:});
??? Error using ==> waitfor
Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback.
My 2cnd level design was: 2 factors(subject , condition)
I have 6 subjects and 3 conditions.
I followed the manuales advice and specified 2 partitions (1st:subject
constant, condition-identity; 2cnd: subject -identity, condition-constant)
I sppecified 'yes' for all covariance components.
In the result->contrast->component window I was able to enter only 1
integer to the 'type' factor contrast window (although there are 3, but
entering more than 1 number gives a warning:"Wrong contrast vector length
for factor type ''). So I ended up entering subject: -1-1-1 1 1 1; type:1.
and that's when I got the error mentioned above.
I did manage to enter the contrast without using the component window, by
entering a vector of length 9: -1-1-1 1 1 1 0 0 0
Hope we can help each other..
Yael
