Hello,
as your fMRI time series has probably undergone motion correction,
a matfile has been produced for each image. This contains the (affine)
transformation information from voxel => world space for each image, and
probably
some additional transformation from the fMRI/anatomy coregistration step.
It dependens on the steps you applied to the fMRI images how the mask
images need to be further
handled.
(a)
Basically the matfile that contains the affine transformation of the fMRIs
is also needed
for the mask file - just try copying in to a file <MAKS_NAME>.mat.
Along with the matfile you could then reslice the mask to the fMRI voxel
resolution
(by using an untouched, original fMRI dummy image (without matfile) as
reference image).
(b)
The correct procedure, however, would be to define the mask file as "other
image"
right at the start when you perform the coregistration of the time series
=> anatomy, so the masks
"follow" this transformation.
I hope, one of the two ways is working,
