Thanks very much Hedok,
It helped but not quite enough for me to get there
I am new to SPM (and matlab) so I tried to paste the scripts and run
them but I was not sure which file to use. Do I have to re-segment the
scans without normalisation? Also two scripts did not work I think
because they are written for SPM5 (and I am using SPM2)? And the third
(below) ran but did not return meaningful data at this stage presumably
because I tested it on modulated smoothed scans.
P = spm_get(Inf,'*.img','Select Images');
V = spm_vol(P);
g = zeros(length(V),1);
for i=1:length(V),
g(i) = spm_global(V(i));
f= sprintf('(i1/%f)>2.5', g(i));
spm_imcalc_ui(P(i,:),['result_' num2str(i) '.img'],f,{[],[],[],1});
end;
save -ascii globals.txt g
I was hoping that somebody might know how to use the vbm2 script that
says "calculate raw volume for GM/WM/CSF", precisely what I would like
to do...
Nic

Hi Nic,
If you just want to calculate total GM, WM, and CSF, these links may
help you.
This one was posted in 2002.

More recent one.

Hope this helps,
