That's what we have as well, for our Siemens scanners. Someone here
at Penn verified this about three years ago, by running an EPI
sequence that saved each slice separately (in which case you actually
get time stamps for each slice). When we first got the scanner, I was
hell bent on finding a way to force the BOLD runs to be saved in this
way, or alternatively to get the slice timings stuffed in the special
Siemens header. No luck on either front, however, so if there's a
stealth change in how the slices are interleaved, it would be easy to
miss.
