Hi Darren,
Unfortunately, there 's no information about acquisition order / timing in
the mosaic image! We asked a Siemens engineer about this.
The best you can do is:
- Check your acquisition method: geometry - common - series.
The acquisition methods "ascending" and "interleaved" are from start -->
end, descending = end --> start. "Start" and "end" are determined by patient
positioning during registration (head first - supine).
- Check " System card - Miscellaneous - image numbering - transversal": this
numbering is independent (!) from the acquisition method, but the numbering
is used to create the mosaic image (F --> H or H --> F); standard, slices in
the mosaic image are always sorted by number! (even if you scanned
interleaved)
All the best,
Benedicte

Hi
For Siemens Trio files, does anyone know what field in the DICOM header
contains the slice
acquisition order information for functional MRI files.
Thanks,
Darren
