The Laboratory for Functional Imaging (Prof. Göran Hajak) at the University
of Regensburg, Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, seeks an
outstanding graduate student for an interdisciplinary fMRI project on the
neural correlates of Theory of Mind, starting Januar 1st 2007 or as early
as possible. This position is part of project acting on cooperation with
the LMU Munich (Prof. Beate Sodian) and is funded by the German Research
Foundation (DFG). The salary is according the German BAT IIa / 2. The
position is initially limited to two years.
We encourage candidates with a cognitive-emotional neuroimaging background
and with experiences in studies with psychiatric patients.
The successful candidate will work at the Department of Psychiatry and
Psychotherapy at the University of Regensburg. The research group uses fMRI
to investigate the neural correlates of social and emotional information
processing in healthy subjects and in psychiatric patients, e.g.
psychopathic personality disorder, Mild Cognitive Impairment, schizophrenia

part of an active interdisciplinary community of cognitive neuroscientists
from various fields and has access to two Siemens MR Systems, a 1.5 and 3
Tesla Siemens Scanner.
