Hi,
CamBA (http://sourceforge.net/projects/camba), the in-house sofware of
the Brain Mapping Unit uses 4D NifTI time series, 16-bit [signed] short
grey values, as inputs. All the statistics files that are produced are
64-bit floats (double). There are also image sequences in the 5th
dimension; this is to indicate that these sequences are not time series.
I have used images where dim[4] != 1 and dim[5] != 1, but they were only
for intermediate use...
Currently, MriCRo does not support image sequences in dim[5] (don't know
about FSLview). We would be very interested in such a viewer!
all the best,
Alle Meije
