This problem is caused by differences in the way Matlab reports its version
number as of Release 2006a (a pox on The Mathworks). In any case this has
been fixed. Please install all the updates. When you do you will have a
function called spm_matlab_version_chk.m, and suitable modifications to any
associated files. This fixes the problem
Darren.
