Kiyotaka, Rozbeeh,
I would suggest modifying the scripts below to really make sure you don't
get mixed up with different versions:

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% spm2.m
% try to close spm, remove spm5 path and clear variables
try
spm quit
clear all
rmpath c:\spm5
end
addpath c:\spm2
spm
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% spm5.m
% try to close spm, remove spm2 path and clear variables
try
spm quit
clear all
rmpath c:\spm2
end
addpath c:\spm5
spm
Now you should not even run into problems when you try to start different
versions from the same MATLAB session.
