Dear Laura:
This is an odd message. Is this the complete message- I ask because it
doesn't include line numbers, which are usually provided when errors occur?
In any case, the only thing I can think of is that somehow you may have an
older version of spm in your path or you haven't updated the current version
with all the updates. In spm5 the file spm_flip_analyze_images is not
actually called by any other functions. The file's presence appears to be a
holdover from spm2. spm5 determines orientations in a somewhat different
way and does not use spm_flip_analyze_images for figuring this out.
Check you matlab path and that you have all the updates.
