I am new to SPM5, even though I have some experience with SPM2. Right now
I am trying to figure out how to do a Two-Sample t-test for PET scans, but
I keep getting error messages. The design of the experiment is as follows:
5 scans for each of group 1 and group 2; all images have the same
dimensions.
I have not adjusted any of the other defaults, other than specifying a
directory in which to save the files.
I saved the file, but when I clicked on "Estimate," no spm.mat file
appreared where I saved my design (or indeed, in any folder that I could
find).
At this point, I tried clicking on "Run" while "Two-Sample t-test" was
hilighted, and I got the following error message in MatLab:
_____

My questions are: what am I doing wrong in the design of the experiment,
and how do I save the design file in a way that I'll be able to access it
in "Estimate?" I consulted the manual, but I still could not figure out
what I was doing wrong. Any other tips would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance,
Jonathan Kass
