Hi Ged,

That's the spirit! I feel the same when reading questions posted to the
list but I answer them anyway.
Your remark reminded me that I seem to remember the days when more
people would chime in on the list to contribute their various
experiences (and the list was much smaller then). I do realize that
people like John will know the answer to most of the questions posted
but the point is that he can (and should) only answer those that only he
knows the answer to. As to all the other postings, the question is asked
to everybody, so everybody should feel free to not only ask but also to
reply. That is the very idea of a mailing list. The fact that numerous
godfathers of modern MR imaging listen in should not distract you from
sharing your knowledge. Perhaps the fact that the reply-button only
sends to the original sender contributes, as recently discussed, but
hey, we deal with more complex problems every day (I do, and that does
not even include work).
So to finish my sermon, *do* reply if you know the answer to the problem
- there is no need to be shy. I have embarassed myself several times
here and I have still not been barred from the list for obvious
incompetence (as yet ;)
Best,
Marko
