The Division of Functional Brain Mapping at Columbia University and New York State
Psychiatric Institute is seeking to fill a post-doctoral position in quantitative neuroimaging
with PET. The group is comprised of investigators with backgrounds in psychiatry,
radiochemistsry, basic neuroscience and mathematics, and has an extensive research history
with publications in the psychiatry, medical imaging and neuropharmacology literature, with
special emphasis on PET pharmacokinetic modeling. Candidates with backgrounds in
mathematics, statistics, digital image processing and related fields are encouraged to apply.
Strong familiarity with the Matlab programming environment is a plus. Research focus could
be concentrated in one of several aspects of the data processing stream, including image
analysis, pharmacokinetic analysis and brain circuitry modeling. The initial appointment will
be for 2 years, with the possibility of extention to 3 or more years. Interested candidates
