Hi Dave,
a brief hint to get you started:
1) Display your anatomical images using CheckReg. Right click in any of
the 3 sections displayed, and you will get a context menu.
2) To overlay a fEIT image, use "add image" or "add coloured image"
3) If you need oblique slice orientations, use "reorient image"
For a nice multislice display in SPM5, you can use the "slover" command
line utility as well.
