There is a function called spm_t2z.m in SPM, so you can convert your T
map to a Z map quite easily. For example, you can do the following.
%--Reading in your T image
Timg = '--Your T image file name here--';
VT = spm_vol(Timg);
XT = spm_read_vols(VT);
%--Converting T to Z
[XZ ZT] = spm_t2z(XT(Q),df);
%-Note: df is the degrees of freedom for your T image
%--Wrtiging out the Z image
VZ = VT;
VZ.fname = '--Your Z image file name here--';
VZ.descrip = 'Z image';
VZ = spm_create_vol(VZ);
VZ = spm_write_vol(VZ,XZ);
Good luck!
