Hi Andrew,
In SPM5, the default tissue probability maps are not smoothed and stored
in tpm folder. There is a thread that may help you.

According to John,
"For SPM5, no smoothing is usually recommended for tissue probability
maps because some nonlinear warping is included within the segmentation
model."
