Lecturer in Neuroimaging (Non-Clinical/Fixed-term)
Summary:
The postholder will take a lead role in the development of the
Neuroimaging Analysis Laboratory within the Dept. of Psychiatry, which
will specialise in the analysis of structural MRI data using computational
techniques, and in the support and supervision of junior research staff.
The postholder will contribute to the advancement of the Dept. of
Psychiatry research program and provision will also be provided for the
candidate to develop his or her own research interests. Candidates should
have, or be close to obtaining, a PhD or equivalent research degree and
have substantial experience in neuroimaging research, including structural
and/or functional MRI analysis. Expertise with statistical and
computational methods for neuroimaging analysis (incl. UNIX/Linux, Matlab,
SPM) is desirable.
The appointment is initially for a 5-year contract term which will
commence in September 2006.
Salary: €35,866 X 10 = €50,864.
