First of all, you should check your paths in Matlab:
1) find out, which spm function is called by typing
which spm
in the Matlab command window. This will give you the location of your
spm.m file, which is assumed to be the directory where all your SPM2 code
files live.
2) Check the installation of your toolboxes
In the folder where your spm.m lives, there should be a folder called
"toolbox", which in turn should contain a folder "Diffusion" if the
diffusion toolbox is installed correctly. In addition, the Matlab
function spm_get_userdata.m should be in the SPM folder.
You might be able to start the toolbox from the command line with
spm_tbx_Diffusion
but if your paths are not set correctly things may go wrong.
