hi spm group
i am just doing a little market research. i am a PhD student in the
neuroimaging lab at the howard florey institute in melbourne,
australia. together with some other post grad's we are looking to make
a 3D brain map (20 coronal slices sitting in a timber base) that
neuroimaging researchers could sit on their desks as a speedy lookup
tool for finding cortical regions. we will colour-code the different
cortical areas so you can lookup your activated regions without the
rigmarole of using a brain atlas or talaraich daemon.
if you are interested in something like this for your students or
yourselves could you please answer a couple of questions and reply to:

please do not reply to the whole fsl list as it is not directly related
to spm.
Questions:
1) how valuable do you think this tool would be to your or your
students' research?
2) how much would you pay for a tool like this?
3) how would you prefer cortical areas to be demarcated on the model?
4) how big would you like the coronal slices to be? (real size, larger,
smaller)
Thanks for your time and i hope to hear from you.
cheers
scott
