Do you mean 64-bit matlab (like r2006a)? x64 windows can run either
32-bit or 64-bit matlab. That PCWIN64 version tag seems coming from
64-bit matlab.
To run any version of SPM in 64-bit matlab, you need to recompile the mex
files to *.mexw64 which is not available for download yet. You also need
to change some of the SPM codes (spm.m, spm_platform.m) to deal with the
version checking and platform checking issues especially in SPM2 and SPM5.
