Dear Mir, List,
during coregistration SPM already allows a full affine transformation,
i.e. all 12 parameters from translation, rotation, zoom and sheer (it
has to be since coregistration is intended for intra-modality
registration, that hence has different distortions/sizes). It is during
realignment that a rigid-body only transformation is applied.
So nothing to worry about!
Cheers,
Bas
