Hi Dianne.
Actually yes there is!
There is a command in Matlab called dlmwrite which will output a matlab matrix as a delimited text file. Tab delimited usually works best.
The way to use this is as follows:
dlmwrite('filename_to_save_to.txt', datamatrix_name, '/t')
The '/t' is for tab delimited, but really you can use anything in this area. Just be sure to put it in quotes.
One thing to remember though. Excel has a limit of 256 columns of data, so if your matlab matrix is more than 256 columns wide you need to invert it so it will fit. That's easy to do by just saying:
datamatrix_name = datamatrix_name'
If it is more than 256 columns AND 256 rows wide then you need to split it up in two or more smaller matrices.
Hope this helps.
