hedok,
thanks for the tips... of course ive tried pressing run! when i have "factorial design specifications" followed by "contrast manager" in my batch setup, it gives me the same error when i execute "spm_jobman('run','factorial.mat')" and when i simply press the "run" button:
<snip>
running "contrast manager"...
??? reference to non-existent field 'xKXs'
<snip>
it appears this field is populated in the SPM.mat structure during the estimation step. i suppose i could do something like split up my design and contrast procedures into two seperate batch files, then run this:
spm_jobman('run','factorial_design.mat');
load('SPM.mat'); % -- would i even need this function call at this point?
spm_spm(SPM);
% -- perhaps something here to save the SPM.mat struct?
spm_jobman('run','factorial_contrast.mat');
but i was really hoping for a way to include the estimation step into the gui batch procedure, as this would greatly simplify things for my users... does such a thing exist, or could it be included in the next revision?
thanks again,
-george
